Freya's Story
Freya has an adoption fee of $1500, to recoup the cost of her surgery and hospitalization - so we can help other critical animals!

Meet Freya!

Freya came to us on death’s door. She was in septic shock secondary to a ruptured uterus, and was comatose, with a glucose of 30 on arrival. Her abdomen was filled with infection, and her surgeon advised against continuing with trying to save her, as the odds weren’t good. We decided that since she fought to make it this far, we owed it to her to continue trying. She made it through surgery and recovery, and after 5 days of hospitalization, we were finally able to take a small breath. Freya continued the uphill battle to survival until she was deemed perfectly healthy, and since then has been amazing! We did have to shave her on intake due to matting, but she’s growing her fur back in nicely and will be fully luxurious in no time.

Freya currently lives with kids, cats, and small dogs and gets along well with everyone. Her adoption fee is to help recoup money spent on her surgery and hospitalization.
