Frederick 's Story
Frederick is a handsome black cat with a story as unique as his tall, lanky frame.

He was rescued from a TNR location in Glassell Park alongside his four siblings—but from the start, Frederick seemed a little different. He’s always been noticeably taller than the rest, which led us to joke that he might actually be their “uncle” who spotted a ticket out of the neighborhood and decided to take it!

Because of his quirky role in the group, Frederick tends to bop around between the other two sibling pairs, happily mingling with everyone.

He gets along well with other cats and would really enjoy having a feline buddy in his future home.

Frederick can be a bit shy at first, but his curiosity usually wins out. If he sees another cat getting attention, he’ll slowly wander over like, “Oooh… what’s going on over here?” With a little patience, he’ll warm up and start to seek you out for gentle chin scratches—and once he trusts you, he truly enjoys the affection.

And of course, Frederick is always happy when food is involved.
If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly quirky companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Frederick might be your guy.
