Freddy Friend (Barn Cat)'s Story

Freddy Friend was originally just "friend" because he is the friend of some other kittens I had. Freddy was rescued from a large cat colony along with the three smaller kittens because he was sick. He's better now and ready for a home where there are other kitties for him to buddy up with. We think Freddy was born in late June or early July 2025. He is not exactly friendly to humans, but he could come around with more one-on-one work. He will likely remain a skittish cat, and requires an experienced/patient adopter. Freddy is also available for adoption as a barn cat or mouser.

Barn cats require a safe and secure area as their home base such as a barn, shed, garage, or tack room. A large dog crate will be required for a two week crated introductory period.

There is no fee for barn cats, and we bring them to you within 1.5 hours of Baltimore. If interested, please complete our barn cat adoption application at www.needsmust.org/barncats
