Freddy's Story

Meet Freddy — the brave boy who found his way home.
Freddy is a 2-year-old fluffy tuxedo sweetheart whose life changed overnight when his owners moved away and left him behind. Suddenly alone on the streets, Freddy waited, searched, and struggled to survive.
When neighbors learned what had happened, a local animal rescuer spent two long months trying to find him — but fate had its own plan. On a bitterly cold winter night, Freddy appeared at her door himself. Covered in ice, trembling from the cold, and desperate for warmth and food, he scratched until someone answered. Freddy had rescued himself.
Despite everything he endured, Freddy’s heart is nothing but love. He is incredibly affectionate with people, friendly with other cats, and deeply grateful for kindness. He uses the litter box perfectly, eats both wet and dry food with a great appetite, drinks water well, and keeps himself neat and tidy — a true gentleman.
Freddy is fully vetted and has a clean health bill. He is parasite-free, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His FIV test came back positive, which simply means that at some point in his life he was exposed to the virus. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, normal lives, and Freddy is currently healthy and thriving.
And Freddy’s story has one more beautiful chapter — by finding his way to safety, he also helped lead rescuers to two other cats, Monty and Teddy. Freddy didn’t just save himself; he became a hero.
Now Freddy is ready for a forever home where he will never be abandoned again — a home filled with warmth, love, and the security he fought so hard to find. In return, he will give devotion, affection, and the quiet gratitude of a cat who knows he has finally been chosen.
💙 Freddy is ready to be someone’s forever.

To request adoption application please email olgarescue@gmail.com
