Fred's Story

My foster mom says I am a character. I am a little bit of a cranky old man, but once you have earned my trust, I love headbutting you and getting my face scritched. I love getting food, sitting in the sun, playing in my crinkle tunnels, and chatting with you about my day. I am front declawed, but still use the litterbox perfectly.

I like interacting on my terms, so I will do best in a house with no kids or older kids who can respect when I do not want to be pet. My new family will need to be patient with me when I first get there, as it will probably take a few weeks for me to relax enough to want to be friends. I would like to be adopted with my buddy Kooks. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
