Fred's Story

Fred was brought to the shelter after he was found living as a stray. He is about 5 years old. Our vet determined that he had an enlarged heart, but luckily, he did great during his surgery to get fixed. Fred is also FIV+. This mainly means that he has a weakened immune system, but he does not require medication for that condition and can still live out a healthy normal life. With his heart condition, we recommend Fred go to a fairly calm home so that he can live as stress free as possible. Fred is such a sweet and affectionate boy! He loves attention from people and seems like he would do well with low energy dogs or children. He must live as an only cat or with other FIV+ cats though. Fred is in need of a loving family and home!
