Fred's Story

Brothers Fred and Barney have been through a lot for their tender age, are very bonded, and must be adopted together. They are true survivors with an amazing story. These boys were rescued when they were only about 2 weeks old, along with two other siblings, when their mother was killed by a neighborhood dog. Two kindly neighbors rescued the four kittens and did their very best to care for them, getting up at regular intervals during the night to bottle feed them, and rushing them to the vet when one kitten took a sudden turn for the worse, as very little ones sometimes do. The babies received the very best emergency care but sadly, we lost two of them. Another hero emerged when Kim, a technic ian at our vet's office, volunteered to take the babies home and care for them herself. She has provided them with expert and loving care, and Fred and Barney are now thriving and ready to meet their forever family.

They are extremely well-socialized, feisty, playful, loving and inseparable. They are litter-trained, eating kitten food, and getting along very well with the other pets in their foster home. They've weathered the storm and deserve a happy life in a very special home. So what are you waiting for?
