Fred's Story

Fred is wondering when he will get his own family. Fred and his brother were found on the side of the road, they were scared and cold. We took them in, fattened them up, got them vaccinated and neutered. Frank was adopted and we hope someone wants to give Fred his forever home. Lakeshore Animal Friends's Adoption Policy

Adoption application is a requirement for all cats/kittens adopted directly from LAF. Pet must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption and, unless special circumstances are agreed upon for a specific cat/kitten, the pet is considered an indoor only pet. LAF reserves the right to visit the potential adopters home to ensure a good placement for the pet and/or has final determination if the pet is a suitable match for the adopter.

Our Mission

Provide spay/neuter assistance for pets adopted from Mason Country Animal Control. Where possible provide foster based rescue for kittens and cats until a safe, healthy and permanent home can be found.
