Meet Freckles!<br/>Just like her name suggest., Freckles in a one of a kind beauty covered in adorable "freckles"! This gorgeous calico is a 1 year old female Domestic Shorthair cat. She came to us as a stray, but she's ready to put her wandering days behind her and find a loving forever home!<br/>Freckles doesn't just have her looks going for her - she is also an exceptionally sweet and affectionate cat. Freckles is the type of kitty that just wants constant love. It can be a little difficult to clean her kennel in the morning, as she wants your attention to be on her. We don't mind, though, as she's just too sweet to get mad at. If you're looking for a constant companion to spend the days snuggled up with, the Freckles is for sure your girl!<br/>Since Freckles was a stray, we don't know if she's lived with other animals or kids before. She hasn't seemed to mind other cats when they pass by, but we have yet to do a full introduction with any. We recommend a meet and greet with the whole family to make sure this cat would be the right fit for you!<br/>Every freckle tells a story - so come help write hers! Humane Society of the High Plains's Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees Spayed/Neutered Dogs $90 Spayed/Neutered Cats $80 Intact Dogs $90 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Intact Cats $80 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. A $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered animals. Kansas State Law KSA: 47-1701, requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered. Lonely Hearts Club Adoption Fees are half-priced for any animal that has been residing at the shelter for at least 30 days. Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Landlord approval is required. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before a predetermined date. We DO NOT adopt animals as gifts. Ask about our gift certificates. All adoptions must be processed in person at the shelter.
