Franklin's Story

Meet Franklin - a handsome, tall drink of water with long legs and a gentle soul.
Franklin is very sweet but can be a little shy at first. He needs some time to warm up to new people, but he loves being near his humans, even if he's slow to accept pets. Once he trusts you, he truly enjoys slow, gentle affection and will happily soak up the love.

Franklin is also very playful and adores all kinds of toys. Laser pointers and feather toys are his absolute favorites - he'll leap impressively high to catch that red dot and never tires of chasing feathers. He's independent enough to entertain himself with an automatic toy if you're busy, but he's always happy to play together too. After playtime, he stretches out those long legs and relaxes nearby, content to watch whatever you're doing.

He does well with other cats and previously lived in a foster home with a dog, so he's familiar with both.

Franklin is one of our six longest residents, and while we understand his shy nature can make him easy to overlook, he is truly a wonderful cat who just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Once you do, you'll see what a big baby he really is.
