Frankie Beans - semi special needs's Story

Frankie Beans!

You have to say both names, in a very enthusiastic voice. That's just how it is.

:)

Jefferson Pound, Lake Hopatcong, NJ.

Another cat from the January hoarding house, Frankie Beans is a very friendly guy who, unfortunately, has been having a difficult time because of a cyst in his right ear.

The vet already removed it once, but we are disappointed to know that it has grown back and the pound vet said there is nothing else they can do but to keep cleaning it and using some kind of, I guess, medication. (Sorry, I am not well-versed in cat medical lingo, but this is my understanding.)

The Cat Crew has been given permission to take Frankie Beans to a specialist (probably the same one we took June Bug to for her eye cyst) to get a second, hopefully more-optimistic opinion.

I really think Frankie Beans would have gone home by now if not for this situation. It's hard enough to find adopters, but to find someone willing to take on a cat with an uncertain medical thing is nearly impossible :(

So please just remember about Frankie Beans and send some good vibes his way while we try to figure out how/when we can best help him!
-- -- -- -- -- -- --
Jefferson Pound, Lake Hopatcong, NJ

I’ve got lots more pics from today’s visit! Sadly I just ran out of steam today. Maybe it’s the weather, I don’t know. But I DO know these guys deserve better so I’ll get back on the ball tomorrow!

For now, here’s one more.

It’s ya boy Frankie Beans!!!

He’s really such a nice guy, definitely the most social of the oranges currently at the pound! And looking much happier post-ear surgery!

Next step: a home! He’s great with other cats, fyi!

Go meet Frankie Beans and his bionic ear! Walk-in weekdays 8-noon, or send me a DM to request a weekend morning visit!

Interested parties can apply to adopt here:
https://jefferson.seamlessdocs.com/f/preadopt
