Frankie's Story

Oh Frankie how far you have come. Rescued from the streets of Philadelphia, Frankie was nothing but skin and bones weighing only 4 1/2 pounds. Even as bad as shape he was in, he was still a lover, had the loudest purr, was overly affectionate, and his eyes said nothing but "Thank You". On his freedom ride out of Philadelphia, knowing he had just been saved, he simply laid down in the carrier and went to sleep.<br/>Frankie is exceptionally affectionate, loves your lap, loves to play, loves other cats, and is just the most Thankful cat you will ever meet. He can be a rough player at times but has calmed down a lot since the early days of his recouperation.

Calla's Critter Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step in adopting from Calla's Critter Rescue is the mandatory application. This process can take up to a week while we call veterinary and personal references, perform home checks and assess the overall responses to our questions. We will be in touch if we need additional information. You will be emailed and/or called with either an approval or denial once the application is fully processed. Once approved we will reach out with the adoption fee and arrange an adoption date, time and location. During the adoption, the new adopter will sign a contract, go over the new pet's vetting history and take care of any other necessary information the new owner would need to know. Any cat/kitten being adopted must go home on the food they are currently eating which will be told to the new adopter prior to the adoption.
