Frank's Story

Frank (spayed fully vetted female)
DOB approx June 1, 2024

Ol' Blue Eyed Frank's journey has been remarkable. After spending over a year outdoors, it was unclear whether she could adjust to being a 'house cat.' Life on the colony had taught her to be cautious, and nobody knew if she would enjoy the safety and routine of indoor life. When she first arrived she was extremely distrustful and pregnant. She went through the trauma of an emergency c- section and later, her spay surgery. She is fearful and upset when trapped into a cage and forced to be at the vet office. She had bad past experience with the c-section incident. However, once she is free from confinement, at home and given a few minutes to relax, she turns right back into an angel

Frank has proven just how resilient and special she is. Since entering foster care, she has blossomed into a gentle, loving and very playful companion. She loves human company, being pet and having belly rubs. She will purr up a storm. She loves chasing balls and carrying them in her mouth. She and Robin wrestle and chase and she enjoys investigating new things to play with while making adorable little noises. She has the funniest little jumps when playing and when chasing the red dot. She may still be a little shy when meeting new people but, once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through within minutes.

One of the most important things in Frank's life is a cat buddy. In particular, she enjoys her best friend, Robin. The two share a beautiful bond and spend their days together, bringing each other comfort and companionship. Frank takes confidence from Robin, and their friendship has helped her continue to grow and thrive. Because of their close connection, they would love to find a forever home together (although this is not a condition of adoption)

After everything she's overcome, Frank deserves a home where she will be cherished, loved, and never have to worry again.

Adoption fee of $175 includes deworming, mite treatment, a minimum of 2 fvrcp vaccinations, spay/tattoo and the recent vet check giving her a clean bill of health

If you are interested please apply at www.whiskerwarriorsmb.ca
