Frank's Story

Meet Frank, an easy-going and affectionate cat. Frank is a 2 year old domestic long haired cat who was surrendered to us due to some health issues his previous owners could not take care of. Thankfully, now that we've had some time to meet and work with him we found it was not serious and after some medication he has been cleared. <br/>If quality time is what you are looking for Frank is the perfect option for you! Frank is a big cuddle bug and loves when he receives attention. In his last home he was surrounded by dogs, cats, and children whom he did well with. We recommend meet and greets for anyone with pets or children prior to adoption.<br/>Franks previous owner did mention some litter box issues. Here at the shelter he has been doing well but may need some further training in a new environment. <br/>Frank has started vaccinations and is ready and available to adopt. Come meet him today!

Humane Society of the High Plains's Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees Spayed/Neutered Dogs $90 Spayed/Neutered Cats $80 Intact Dogs $90 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Intact Cats $80 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. A $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered animals. Kansas State Law KSA: 47-1701, requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered. Lonely Hearts Club Adoption Fees are half-priced for any animal that has been residing at the shelter for at least 30 days. Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Landlord approval is required. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before a predetermined date. We DO NOT adopt animals as gifts. Ask about our gift certificates. All adoptions must be processed in person at the shelter.
