FRANCOIS

My name is Francois and I am a black & white domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 10 months old. I was transferred here from another shelter/rescue through the Ames Animal Shelter's Third Chance program on 10/15/2025. I am a medium energy cat and I will need an owner with some prior pet owning experience as I am still getting used to living indoors. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men and women, and staff are still learning how I do with children. I can be good with other cats and I would prefer a home without dogs.
