Francis's Story
Francis is a gentle soul who has been through a lot in his young life. He was found living outside, scared and alone, with a painful injury to his tail. Thankfully, he made his way to the shelter where he finally received the medical care and love he needed. After weeks of sedated bandage changes and careful treatment, his injury has fully healed, and now Francis is ready to start the next chapter of his life.
Francis is a nervous and shy boy who needs a very calm, quiet home with patient adopters willing to give him all the time he needs to feel safe. Earning his trust won’t happen overnight—it will take lots of treats, gentle encouragement, and a whole lot of patience. But for the right person, Francis’s love will be worth every moment of waiting.

He’s looking for a home where he can finally feel secure and learn what it means to be loved unconditionally. If you’re someone who believes in second chances and is ready to dedicate the time to becoming his friend, Francis will be forever grateful. Fill out an application for him here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FMAS/Cat

If you are interested in meeting Francis in person, the shelter has visiting hours on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon until 4 pm. He can’t wait to meet you!
