Fozzie is a playful, chatty orange kitty with a HUGE personality and plenty of quirks that make him unforgettable. <br/><br/>He’s famous for his late-night zoomies, sprinting back and forth until he finds the perfect toy—his favorites are little springs and anything interactive that he can bat around. When he’s in a silly mood, Fozzie will lick your hand, give you a cheeky little “chomp,” and sometimes grab you to let you know playtime isn’t over yet. He truly embodies the “orange cat” energy we all hear about! <br/><br/>He loves attention on his own terms and will happily meow to greet you when you walk in the door. While being picked up isn’t his style, he still enjoys spending time near his people—often chilling on the bed during slow mornings, napping at the foot of the bed, or gazing out the window to keep tabs on the world outside.<br/><br/>This energetic boy has a softer side, too—he loves his meals (wet food is his favorite, though he eats dry as well) and finds comfort in having a routine. <br/><br/>One thing to know about Fozzie is that he is FIV+. This diagnosis is not as scary as it sounds. It essentially means that at one point he contracted it by another cat (likely trying to fight him) and it causes his immune system to be compromised. His future pawrents will just need to keep an eye out for the occasional sniffles and ensure his diet is rich with lysine supplements to boost his immune system. Cats with FIV are perfectly capable of living long and healthy lives despite having it! <br/><br/>Fozzie has not had any interactions with any cats while he has been with us here at Catcalls. He had been beaten up pretty badly when we had rescued him so we suspected he could have been fighting another cat back and standing his ground. <br/><br/>He’s doing well on his own, as long as his new parents have plenty of time and attention to pay to him, the boy loves to play! <br/><br/> To make his move into a forever home even easier, his foster family is also selling the Litter-Robot he’s been happily using.
