Foxy's Story

This cutie is loving indoor life! Foxy lived as an outdoor colony cat in the Finch/ Dufferin area until it was noticed she was having teeth / eating problems over time. Foxy was brought into animal services and it was determined her teeth were damaged and needed to go. Unfortunately that did not leave a lot of options for an outdoor cat! Luckily ACR got involved and she got the medical care she needed and a nice place to recover!

Now, Foxy loves to eat a good meal of wet food or small kibble and drink lots of water. Her teeth had to be removed but on the plus side, no more teeth complications! Her youthful personality is so wonderful. She loves playing with chase toys, brushing up against legs and hands for petting, and brushing up against other cats. She has only love and affection for other cats (no dogs have been tested so far)!

In less than a month, Foxy has been an absolutely great house guest at her foster home with no incidents of furniture destruction, counter surfing, or litter box accidents. She is okay to be picked up here and there, but would not be a good candidate for a home with small kids, as she likes having private spaces too. Like a fox, this cat is an urban survivor! Now, Foxy is ready to be a great addition to a long-term, loving home.

Foxy is negative for FIV and FeLV. Like all ACR cats, Foxy is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
