Forrest's Story

Meet Forrest -a 9-year old orange tabby with a gentle soul and a tender heart. Forrest has had a tough time finding his forever home, probably because he's a little shy around strangers and has been moved from place to place, meeting lots of new people along the way.
Recently, when his foster mom reconnected with him, Forrest hugged into her and refused to let her set him down-a perfect reminder of the affectionate, loving cat he truly is once he feels safe.
Forrest has experienced some big changes, including the loss of his home and the loss of his bonded friend while in the shelter, so he's navigating a new chapter and will need a patient, understanding home where he can feel secure again.
He may be shy at first-especially around men, other cats, and sudden noises-but once he warms up, his affectionate side shines bright. He loves head rubs and scratches and will happily nuzzle your hand when offered.
At bedtime, Forrest shows just how sweet he can be: he enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster mom, alternating between cozy snuggles right beside her and stretching out at the foot of the bed. He also adores cardboard scratching pads, which are one of his favorite comforts.
Forrest would thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone willing to give him time, gentleness, and reassurance. In return, he'll reward you with soft snuggles, loyal companionship, and the kind of love only a grateful, gentle cat can give.
