Forrest's Story
Forrest is a handsome 9-year, 4-month-old orange tabby with a gentle soul and a tender heart. He recently lost his bonded friend while in the shelter, so he's been navigating a big change and will need a patient, understanding home where he can feel safe again.
Forrest is shy at first-especially around men, other cats, sudden noises, and things like brooms-but once he starts to feel comfortable, his affectionate side truly shines. He loves head rubs and scratches and will happily rub his face into your hand when offered.
At bedtime, Forrest has already shown his sweet, loving nature. He enjoyed sleeping in bed with his foster mom, alternating between cozy snuggles right beside her and stretching out at the end of the bed. He also has a fondness for cardboard scratching pads, which are one of his favorite comforts.
Forrest would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone willing to give him time, gentleness, and reassurance. In return, he'll reward you with soft snuggles, sweet companionship, and the kind of love that only a grateful, gentle cat can give.
