Born around the same time as Mama Ember’s litter, Forge was one of the kittens left behind, surviving day by day in conditions no baby should know.<br/><br/>When we rescued Forge just over a week ago, he was terrified and covered in dirt. Fear was all he knew. Like all our kitten intakes, Forge was given time in a safe, enclosed space to decompress and learn that humans can be trusted. With patience and gentle care, Forge has begun to show his true self—a loving, affectionate little boy who just needed someone to believe in him.
