Footsie- looking for foster or adopter!'s Story

Footsie is a 5-year-old neutered male with a heart as big as his personality. If you’re looking for a cat who will shower you with affection, look no further—Footsie may just be the friendliest cat in the world. He absolutely loves being pet, happily leans into every bit of attention, and would make the perfect lap cat for someone who wants a constant, loving companion.

Footsie is currently looking for either an adopter or a foster home where he can truly relax and be cherished. He has FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), which is a virus that affects a cat’s immune system and can make them more vulnerable to illness over time. It’s important to know that FeLV is only contagious to other cats, not to people or other types of animals. Because of this, Footsie will need to be the only cat in the home (unless other resident cats are also FeLV+), but he could happily live with other pets like dogs.

Footsie will also need to remain indoor-only to keep him safe and healthy, along with routine veterinary care to monitor his condition. What he needs most, though, is love—and he gives that back tenfold.

Despite his diagnosis, Footsie doesn’t let anything dim his spirit. He is endlessly affectionate, always ready for cuddles, and would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people as much as possible. He’s the kind of cat who will follow you around, curl up in your lap, and remind you every day just how special he is.

If you’re willing to open your heart and home to a cat who needs a little extra care but gives so much in return, Footsie is ready to be your most devoted companion
