Fonzie's Story
I was named after a character from the “Happy Days” TV show, but my life wasn’t always that. When I was found alone in a yard in Northwest DC, I had a really bad upper respiratory infection and wasn’t sure I would make it. My eyes were covered in mucous, and I was hunkered down under a pile of weeds, seemingly unable to move. Fortunately, Rock Creek Cats heard my cries and took me to an animal hospital to get the antibiotics and other treatment I really needed. I’m now recovered and enjoying indoor life. It turns out I’m a very nice boy who enjoys cuddling with humans, play-wrestling with other young cats, and staring out the window as snow falls from the sky. I have been neutered and vaccinated, so all I need now is my forever home.
