Flynn is a 2.5 year old little lady who did NOT belong on the mean streets of Houston! <br/><br/>When I would feed the stray cats near my house I noticed that Flynn got picked on by some of the other cats and chased away from her food. For weeks she would follow me from one feeding spot to another, but kept a distance of about 10 feet between us. She would only eat when I sat down nearby and watched over her. <br/><br/>One day I was walking back home and turned around to find a little shadow trailing about 10 feet away… it was Flynn, and she followed me for an entire block to our backyard! From that night on she always followed me home to eat in peace and sleep on our porch where she was safely gated in. After weeks of this I just couldn’t leave her outside and snatched her up to start getting her used to the good life. It didn’t take her long at all – she absolutely adores being pet and getting scratches and is the sweetest little baby with beautiful dark brownish black markings and bright green eyes. <br/><br/>Flynn is incredibly sweet. I'll catch her just staring up at me lovingly sometimes, waiting for a pet and a kiss. Sometimes she is still shy with new people (especially men) but with a little patience and love you will see just how amazing and special she is. Anyone she trusts is able to pick her up and carry her around with no problem at all. She doesn't understand the concept of a lap cat yet, but would really love to sleep right next to you and keep you company forever. <br/><br/>Miss Flynn girl put on weight almost immediately after moving indoors because she prefers to eat kitten food (we’re working on that), so she officially falls into the category of "a little chonky and BEAUTIFUL". She also has taken on the role of House Mom at the Cat Condo foster home – you’ll usually find her snuggled up with kittens giving them a bath. Her maternal instincts kick in when one of the bigger kitties is being too rough with Her Babies and she will head right over to make sure everyone is OK. <br/><br/>As she becomes more secure in her environment, we're seeing an adorable and playful side of Flynn! She loves crawling with her kitten buddies in their cat tunnel and chasing wand toys. You can tell she's a little bashful when she's doing it, but she just can't resist the fun.<br/><br/>Flynn is so appreciative of life off the streets and has so much love to give. After a tough start, she needs a special family to take her in and give her the gentle and loving home she deserves. Could that be you?
