Floyd Pepper MUST BE ADOPTED AS A BUDDY's Story

Floyd Pepper is a handsome young cat with a gentle, reserved nature. While his siblings are quick to make friends, Floyd prefers to take his time getting to know new people and surroundings. He may be shy at first, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy who quietly seeks connection on his own terms.

One of Floyd's favorite routines is sneaking onto his foster mom's bed at night to sleep nearby-close enough to be part of the family, but just out of reach. At this stage, he isn't a fan of being petted, though his love of treats makes him much more willing to accept affection. With patience, consistency, and plenty of snacks, Floyd is sure to continue building trust and confidence.

Floyd gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline companion. He should be adopted with one of his siblings-Zoot, Janice, or Andromeda-or into a home with a friendly, age-appropriate cat. He also tolerates his foster family's dog and could do well with a calm, cat-savvy canine companion, although they're unlikely to become best friends.

Floyd is looking for a patient adopter who understands that some of the most rewarding relationships take time to grow. If you're willing to let him move at his own pace, you'll have the privilege of watching this sweet, sensitive boy blossom.

Like all ACR cats, Floyd is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
