Country Cat Lady's Adoption Policy
Adoptions are completed after approved application. Our Cats are placed in homes that are right for the animal, this is not always the first approved adopter that request that cat. Our adoption policy is that cats either go into a home with a cat or dog already or with in a no pet home adoptions must be done in pairs (except of an adult cat that must have an only pet home). Cats are social animals and need the company of another cat or dog. Applications can take up to 2 weeks to process as we are fully staffed by volunteers and it takes time for calls to be returned. Approved applications are good for 6 months to give time to find the perfect fit. All of our cats are spay/neuter, dewormed, received baby vaccinations, and negative for FIV/FeLV unless states otherwise. We do not declaw our cats.
