Flora's Story

Your Cute Aggression Doesn't Stand a Chance! Have you ever met a cat who defies physics by being a circle and a square? Well, her name is Flo and she's just a girl who's perfectly shaped and living her cutest life. She was found abandoned in Fairmount Park where she was cared for for over a year before finally moving to the indoor good life, and let me tell you, she's never looking back! Flo is an independent girly pop who knows what she wants and will absolutely get it. Treats? Hers! A nice comfy lap? Give it to her! That feather wand? You know what you have to do! Don't let her independent ways fool you though. She LOVES the company of her humans, but shh don't tell anyone. Please pick her up, hold her like a baby, and kiss her right on her square head. Be prepared for her to claim your lap and purr quietly for hours. She's incredibly patient with kids, too, and knows how to communicate her boundaries gently if she's had enough. Flora would thrive in a home being the only cat where she has a human's sole attention. She would also do well in a home where there was an older, aloof cat who wanted to share space and coexist peacefully with her. She's playful, especially after meal times, and prefers to play interactively with her favorite people! Her forever home will be the luckiest to listen to her perfectly fat feet stomp around while she pretends not to follow you everywhere you go

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at betsysmith9788@gmail.com to learn more about them!

In order to meet with any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp. If you have any questions for our adoption team, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-238-9901 ext. 30.
