Flora came to us feeling very unsure of the world and spent her early days quietly hiding. With time, patience, and kindness, she has made steady and meaningful progress and is now much more comfortable around people. She has formed a few people friends, enjoys playtime, and has been welcoming more pets, especially when things are calm and familiar.<br/><br/>Flora continues to come out of her shell and show her sweet and goofy personality more each day. She will do best with a cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust is something earned and is happy to let her move at her own pace. With a calm home and continued patience, we know Flora will keep building confidence and settling into the loving companion she is becoming.<br/><br/>If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.
