Flame's Story

Flame (name pending) is an affectionate flame point Siamese mix. He’s an adult, age unknown, but we’re guessing around 5 years old. He’s extremely affectionate and loves attention and being scratched. He’s happy as an indoor cat and is litter box trained. So far he hasn’t seen bothered by other cats or dogs.

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy

We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.

We are a non profit organization with the goal of providing better quality of life for homeless senior and special needs pets near Knoxville. We are a small organization who relies solely on adoption fees and donations from the public.
