🐾 The Pleasant Valley Firehouse Crew 🐾<br/><br/>This special crew came to us from the Pleasant Valley area, where they had been under the care of a kind gentleman who did everything he could to look after them. When his health declined, and he entered hospice care, the cats remained around the Pleasant Valley fire department, with no one else able to step in and continue their care.<br/><br/>Wanting them to have a chance at safety, stability, and proper medical care, we brought them into foster care so they could begin the rehabilitation process they deserved.<br/><br/>There are four kittens, rescued together alongside their big brother (Hemming), who had clearly taken on the role of protector long before help arrived. Even now, in foster care, he continues to watch over them — grooming them, cuddling them, and making sure they feel secure as they adjust to this new chapter.<br/><br/>This crew is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and supported, and they are doing it together — just as they always have. Their story is one of quiet resilience, compassion, and the power of stepping in when it matters most.
