MEET FIONA! Would benefit from a confident cat friend! Fiona is a gentle, reserved lady who spent most of her life in a home with lots of feline friends, so adjusting to shelter life has been a big change for her! There are lots of new people and sounds, which can be a bit scary at first. But she’s slowly learning that humans aren't so bad and sometimes even bring her yummy treats! <br/>This lovely lady recently left the only home she’s ever known, so she may need some extra time and patience before her true personality can really shine. Fiona will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, but once she feels safe, she’s shown she enjoys quiet attention, tasty treats, and a bit of catnip now and then. <br/><br/>Fiona has already made incredible progress during her time with us, and we think she’d really thrive in a calm home and could do well with another confident cat friend to help show her the ropes. If you're looking for a quiet roommate to binge Netflix with, Fiona might just be your new best friend! Fiona is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered/spayed, microchipped, and seen by our vet team. Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
