Hello, I am Fiona. Like the princess from Shrek, I am an independent girl who knows how to kick butt but also give love. I am six years old and a female tuxedo Domestic Short Hair. I was surrendered to the shelter by my family due to some trouble they had with my litter box habits. However, since my arrival at the shelter, they have gotten me all figured out. The fact is, I just don't squat when I pee! The shelter got me a top-entrance litter box, and I haven’t had an accident for weeks! (They are very proud of me and said whoever adopts me can have one of these cool litter boxes too, to take with me to my new home.)

I am front-declawed, which makes it difficult for me to feel comfortable around the other cats in the community room. I would love a home of my own because, without my claws, I can’t defend myself. I also need to be an indoor girl only because of my missing claws.

I am very friendly, and if you are sitting down, I will immediately be in your lap for pets—like it or not! I LOVE my lap cuddles but don’t enjoy being picked up as much. I would love a home without small children because I need a quieter environment to feel fully at ease and be myself.
