Fiona's Story

Fiona is a beautiful “torbie” (tabby with some tortoiseshell markings) who loves and demands snuggles, kisses, and belly rubs. She’s an aggressive snuggler who loves to burrow deep into your neck, and gives ample purrs. You’ll know she’s happy because she’ll make biscuits all over your face. Sometimes when she holds her tail high in happiness it will dangle over her head and she’ll start batting at it, forgetting that it’s attached to her. The perfect family for her would be a family who understands how special she is and loves on her endlessly. She enjoys the company of other cats and requires a home with a cat already in residence to bond with.

Her foster home did have small children, so she has been exposed to them. She’s very sweet and gentle with children, but is easily startled by their boisterous energy. She would do well in a home with children if they are already cat-savvy, otherwise, any quiet household would suit her well.

She’s such a sweet loving girl and can’t wait to meet her forever family!

All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons.

South County Cats is a volunteer-driven, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Most kittens come from rescue situations and some are not suitable for young children. ALL kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten already in residence. Please see our Adoption Policies at http://www.southcountycats.org/scc-adoption-policies where you can also find our Adoption Application. Please ask us about our policies if you have questions.

Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness. Adopted cats and kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier, no cardboard boxes.

Our adoption application can be found at https://form.jotform.com/200017468978059. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Please email us at sccadopt@gmail.com for more information.

Please note that this cat or kitten may have an adoption application pending. Adoptable pet listings are not removed until the adoption has been finalized. Pets are removed from the adoptable list as soon as possible after adoption.
