Fiona's Story

A little about me.....

When the couple that rescued me discovered I had no identification, they named me Fiona. I'm not committed to that name. I'm not a princess, I'm a survivor. My rescuers found me wandering from campground to campground in the Withlacoochee State Forest, hungry and anxious. They asked around to other campers who had seen me searching for scraps but no one claimed me. They realized that my survival in the forest was highly unlikely with all the natural predators I might encounter, so they took me home with them and contacted Full of Cattitude Cat Rescue.

My foster mom got me cleared of fleas and internal parasites, but I didn't trust her other foster cats, so I had to remain in a kennel. I love humans, but I am still unsure about other cats. I have not met any other animals so I'm not sure how I feel about dogs or parrots or even small children. I do want a home of my own, where I can be the cat companion I was meant to be.

I've been through some scary times and have been abandoned, but I haven't given up hope that there is someone who will give me a chance. Is that person you?

Please complete our online Adoption Application. An application is required to move forward with any adoption. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE!

All Full of Cattitude cats have been spayed or neutered, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine (if old enough), microchip, and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat. There is a screening process and a contract must be completed prior to any adoption. Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. The present adoption fee is $125.00 (please note this amount may change without notification).

All cats in our care were rescued from various situations and may have experienced health issues or trauma. While we provide comprehensive veterinary care, including deworming, defleaing, and treatment for any existing conditions, we cannot guarantee that a cat will remain completely healthy after adoption. It's important to understand that cats can develop health issues at any time, and regular veterinary check-ups are recommended. By adopting a rescue cat, you're giving a deserving animal a second chance at a happy and healthy life.
