Finn's Story

Meet Finn

Finn, along with his brothers, Oliver and Gus are practically identical triplets. Finn and his brothers rule the cat room, they dash over every time the door opens just to see what fun (or food) the staff or volunteers are bringing them. The three of them love laser light, cat trees, and the exercise wheel! The funniest part about all three of them is the desire to drape themselves across any and everything. They are so relaxed, they hang like wet noodles and our staff / volunteers just love it! Finn is by far the most chill, often found draped over the top of the highest cat tree, until a laser light catches his attention!

Finn is a happy, playful, quirky, silly, affectionate and friendly kitten. He has a little white dot on his chest which helps us to tell him apart from his brothers who all share the silky, shiny black coat that catches the sun. Finn (and his brothers) will do well in your home, preferably with a kitty or pup companion and a tall cat tree. If interested in offering Finn a safe, loving, indoor life, please submit an application online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don’t receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or email us at smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area.

We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
