Figgy Pudding's Story

If you want to enjoy sweet holiday treats year-round, have we got the girl for you! Figgy Pudding came to us right before Christmas and was appropriately named for how deliciously sweet she is.

This 4-5-year-old gal loves human attention and affection, but feels a little bullied by some of the other cats here with strong personalities. She's definitely on the demure and submissive side, and will hide if she feels threatened by them. A calm home either without other cats or chill ones with similar personalities would be best for her. She doesn't seem too bothered by dogs, but again, loud or hyper ones may scare her. Figgy came in with Sugar Plum, a gray tabby with a mostly white face, piercing green eyes and the pinkest nose with a similar personality. They don't have to be adopted together, but they previously lived together and get along well!

Figgy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Come meet her any time we're open, fill out an adoption application at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary, or call 570-376-3646 with any questions.

------------------------------
ABOUT US
We're a nonprofit, lifesaving shelter founded in 2001 for lost, abandoned and at-risk dogs and cats in Tioga County, PA.
- Location: Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries, 725 Gee Rd., Tioga, PA 16946
- Hours: 12-5 p.m. Tues, Thur & Fri; 12-4 p.m. Sat & Sun; closed Mon & Weds
- Phone: 570-376-3646
- Email: secondchanceas@yahoo.com
- Website: www.secondchanceas.org
- PA kennel license #04944

Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process: 1) Fill out an application on our website at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt. Please note that submitting an inquiry through PetFinder or other online listing does not constitute an adoption application. Applications can also be downloaded as a pdf and emailed to secondchanceas@yahoo.com or filled out at the sanctuary any time we're open. 2) We will process your application by calling your veterinarian and personal references. How long this takes depends on how quickly we can reach them. You can help expedite this process by letting them know we'll be calling from the number 570-376-3646. We may also call you to ask additional questions or to share pertinent information about the animal you've applied for. 3) We will inform you of your application's status, usually in a few days to a week. Even if the animal you hoped to adopt goes to another home, you still may be approved to adopt another animal. We attempt to match animals to homes that best fit their personality/needs and vice versa. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
