Figaro

Meet Figero! 💕 This beautiful 4-month-old tuxie girl may be a little shy, but underneath that nervous exterior is a sweet little girl just waiting to feel safe.

Figero was so shy when it was time for her pictures that she mostly wanted to hide in the corner. But when we took our time, spoke softly to her, and gently started petting her, something amazing happened...

Figero started to purr. 🥹❤️

And coming from a scared shelter kitten, that little purr is one of the best sounds we could hear! As she began to realize she was safe, Figero slowly relaxed and even started snuggling into us, trusting us to keep her safe.

Figero is looking for a special home with someone who understands that love and trust take time. She may not be the kitten who immediately runs up to greet you, but if you are willing to give her the time she needs to feel comfortable, you will get to experience something incredibly special: watching a scared little kitten blossom into a loving companion.

Give Figero the time to learn that she is safe. Give her the chance to learn that she is loved. In return, she will give you a lifetime of love, purrs, and snuggles. 🐾❤️

Could you be the patient, loving family Figero has been waiting for?

✨ Thinking about adopting? ✨ You're welcome to stop by during our open hours to meet the cats and kittens! You can also fill out an application online, and we'll be happy to set up an appointment time for you. 🐾 All cats and kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be kept as indoor-only pets and may not be declawed. 🐾 Every cat is spayed/neutered, FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption.
