Figaro's Story

Figaro, aka “Figgy,” is a super friendly and loving young adult cat who was found as a stray in a rural area of Virginia. He’s quite the talker (he will sing you the song of his people in the carrier!) and loves every human he meets, even at the vet’s office!

He’s about 2-3 years old, neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is microchipped.

Although I haven’t had him around any children, he seems like he would be good with at least school-age kids who know how to be gentle with animals. He’s a very easy-going cat and would be great for a first-time pet owner too!

Figgy is a little bit unsure about other cats (probably due to being out on his own and having some not-so-friendly encounters with the local stray cats), but seems interested and likely would do OK with another friendly, tolerant cat, with slow introductions. He’s currently hanging out in my basement with another friendly foster cat and they’re getting to know each other.

He has gorgeous copper-colored eyes and a sleek black coat. He’s a pretty solid guy as well, weighing in at 11 lbs. at his last vet check. This handsome house panther would be a great addition to just about any home!

Figaro is not part of Walter Rescue but is being listed here as a courtesy.
