Fifi's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

If there were an Olympic sport for lap-sitting, Fifi would take gold every time. This gorgeous two-year-old is quite possibly the lappiest lap cat to ever claim a lap. Yours, your family’s, your guest’s - if it’s a lap, Fifi’s already on her way over. She’s incredibly friendly and very well-behaved, the kind of cat who just fits right into whatever you’re doing. When she’s not busy perfecting her lap technique, she loves to play. Tunnels, balls, wand toys, catnip mice - you name it, she’s game. While she’s supervising your work, she has a blast trying to catch your mouse cursor. If there isn’t a lap available (a situation she finds deeply unfortunate), Fifi is perfectly happy to hang out nearby and watch what you’re doing. She just likes being close to her people - whether that means keeping you company while you work or settling in for a cozy cuddle while you watch a movie. Fifi is good with kids, though dogs are an unknown. One thing she is certain about: she does not want to share her lap privileges with another cat. Fifi must be the only cat in the home so she can have full, uninterrupted access to the laps she deserves.

Fifi came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own after her owner’s life circumstances changed.

Now she’s ready to find her forever home at last with plenty of humans to follow and, most importantly, plenty of laps to curl up in. Give Fifi a lap and lots of love, and she’ll be one very happy girl.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
