Festus's Story

Festus may come across as a little grumpy at first glance... but truthfully, its more of a protective shield than a personality flaw.

He hides. He side-eyes. Hes not exactly marketing himself to the masses. But if you look a little closer, youll see a boy whos just scared and having a hard time. Life has clearly thrown him a few curveballs, and hes still figuring out how to feel safe again.

Festus is incredibly cute especially with his one ear that folds over in the most endearing way. It gives him a permanently concerned expression that only adds to his charm.

Hes going to need someone special. Someone patient enough to see past the walls. Someone willing to let him move at his own pace and show him that the world can be gentle.

Festus would do best in a quiet home without children or dogs. A calm environment will help him feel secure enough to start letting his guard down. Other cats may be okay, especially respectful ones who wont overwhelm him.

Cats like Festus dont blossom overnight but when they do, its because someone believed in them first.

If youre interested in Festus, fill out an application at https://fourfootedfriends.org/adopt/
