Ferris's Story

Meet Ferris!
Ferris is the perfect cat for someone hoping for a relaxing day off. He is a 9 year old neutered Domestic Shorthair, and is looking for a forever home!
Ferris came to the shelter through no fault of his own. His previous owner found themself with too many pets, and unfortunately had to downsize. He was surrendered to us alongside one of his buddies, KJ, who has his own listing.
Ferris is still taking the time to fully settle in. He has been so incredibly sweet with us, but the shelter is a big change for him, so he is feeling the nerves. He tends to hide right now, and loud noises scare him. If you sit with him, though, he will gladly let you pet him. This is a big adjustment, so patience will be key to show him that you can be trusted!
Ferris has been around other cats, dogs, and kids before, and did well with them all. With him being nervous currently, any kids or animals should be supervised around him until he can settle in to ensure they aren't pushing his boundaries.
With Ferris being older, he would be the perfect companion for someone that leads a calmer life. He's not going to need an owner with lots of energy or high activity levels, and will be perfectly content to snooze the day away with you. His best days would be spent as a lap cat, hanging out by your side!
Ferris is litterbox trained and has been started on his vaccinations. He is ready to go to a home where he can thrive again! If you think Ferris could be the cat for you, stop by and meet him today!
