Fernando's Story
Look up BFF in the dictionary and you'll see FERNANDO (M, 2 yo) as the first entry. This boy is the perfect definition of Best Friend Forever.

Nando, or Nanners as he's affectionately known in his foster home, is a bestest boy who loves to hang out with his humans. He will follow you around the house, sleep on the bed with you and even watch the World Series with you - pawing at the players he thinks you should pay attention to. Fernando is not fond of vet visits or loud noises, but when he is scared, he takes comfort from being in your arms and will cling to you to be absolutely sure that you're not going anywhere.

Fernando has had more than his share of vet visits. He developed itchy skin last summer that may have been due to seasonal allergies or dry air. Fortunately, the issue was resolved with medication; but Fernando may need to go back on meds when the weather gets warmer.

At home, Nanners is a happy boy who loves to chase shadows and lounge in the bathroom sink. He is affectionate without being clingy, he loves pets and attention, but does not want to be held for long periods of time - he is too busy doing cat things. He would love to have a cat friend of a similar age, but would do well as your one and only. Of course, a perfect friend has perfect house manners. Fernando uses his litter box like a pro and is very respectful of furniture; he knows that his cat scratcher is there for a reason.

GET READY FOR A NEW BEST FRIEND!

If you'd like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link - https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application. The adoption fee is $150 and covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of our cats have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they're ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
