Fernando's Story
Meet Fernando!

This handsome brown tabby was born around April 24, 2025, and was found in a feral colony in Oakland Township—hence his tipped ear—but there’s absolutely nothing feral about him! Fernando is a sweet boy who’s a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, you can hear his purr from across the room.

He’d do best in a quiet home where he can build confidence at his own pace. Fernando hasn’t been around dogs, so we’re not sure how he’d do with them, and he wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with young children.

Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $175 per kitten covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat. If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application on the website http://www.bestbuddypetrescue.com/Cats.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little patience and kindness, Fernando might be your guy!
