Hi, my name is Fern! I am a sweet lady who is looking for my new home. I would love to meet you and melt your heart! This cat tested positive for FIV. FIV-positive cats do not inherently have a shorter lifespan; studies show they can often live as long as uninfected cats. While the virus weakens a cat's immune system, making it more vulnerable to secondary infections, proper care—including a good diet, regular vet check-ups, and a low-stress, indoor-only environment—allows many FIV-positive cats to have a normal, healthy life. Our Adoption Program operates on a first come, first served basis. An animal must be visited with in-person in order to adopt or place a hold. Once you are ready to adopt, our Client Services team will assist you with the paperwork, including signing an adoption contract.
