Fern's Story

If you think tabby cats are "plain," you need to meet Fern. This beautiful girl has gorgeous eyes, the most adorable little pink nose, and the most amazing color variations in her coat. You'd pay a lot of money to have your hair colored like hers!

Fern was found a couple days after the recent snowstorm, scrounging for food in a Baltimore alley, and I have NEVER met a cat who was so happy to be rescued! She couldn't decide which she was happier about... being inside where it was warm, having a full food dish, or getting attention from humans, so she ran excitedly back and forth between her heated bed, her food dish, and her foster human purring and meowing in appreciation. I think it's safe to say she's happy her street cat days are over!

Fern is quite young, probably only a year old. She's a very chatty girl who likes to carry on a conversation with you, and is very affectionate. And like most young cats, she loves to play!

She is spayed, started on vaccinations (will require one booster), tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped.

She is a bit wary of the other cats in her foster home but is starting to warm up a bit. She has not been around children or dogs yet. More photos to come... she's just recently been vetted so is just starting to have the run of her foster home.

Visit https://bit.ly/pigtowncats to fill out an application.
