MEET FENELLA! If gentleness and sugar could be combined into a kitty, it would be Fenella! At just 2 years old, Fenella arrived at our shelter terrified and always trying to make herself small. She continuously hid from view under her blanket as if to say They can't hurt me if they can't see me. With some time, love, and a whole lot of treats, Fenella blossomed into the girl we know now! Her days of hiding from our touch are far behind her, and Fenella literally LEANS into affection. If you stop petting her, she will reach out and gently put her paw on your hand. We always give into her, because after spending so much time fearing people, Fenella deserves all the scratches she missed out on for so long. Fenella has tested very well with other cats and initially came to our shelter with her son. We think she would do wonderfully as an addition to an existing cat family, or as a single kitty! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. All she needs now is someone to continue to help her build confidence and make up for two year's worth of the love she missed out on! All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
