Felix's Story
Our feline friend Felix is feelin’ just fine... He’d feel a whole lot better with a home of his own though!

Felix is a serious sweetheart with an iconic giant grin. He’s resourceful and clever, and likely to use a magic bag of tricks when handling tricky situations. He enjoys causing some playful trouble and is a magnet for the weird. Despite his tricks, he's always willing to help others in need.

Felix loves digging into scratching posts; as long as there are plenty, he’ll leave the furniture alone. He is a true foodie and an animated eater who likes to knock some food out of his bowl but doesn’t eat it off the floor.

Felix is looking for a family he can greet in the morning. He’ll ask (or chirp) about how you’re doing too. He is very adaptable; he’s been friendly to other cats but unsure about canine friends. Felix would do well in a home with older children because he plays rough sometimes.

Felix was once an outdoor cat and he has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) but don't let this scare you. This is primarily an immune compromising disease. As long as he is always kept updated with vaccines he can live a normal healthy life. This is also why we recommend that he is the only cat in the home.

Felix is between 2-4 years old, vaccinated and neutered. The adoption fee is $50.

If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
