FAVA's Story

Some cats don’t walk into your life—they slowly, quietly find their way into your heart.

Hi, I’m Fava. I’ve been called a “Supposedly UNadoptable” cat... but I think I’m just a little misunderstood.

I’m a shy, sensitive girl looking for an experienced cat person who will let me move at my own pace. I may not come running up to you right away, but I do connect in my own gentle way. Shake the treat bag or call my name, and I’ll come say hello. Once I feel safe, my personality starts to shine.

I love chasing wand toys and carrying my toys around in my mouth—it’s one of my adorable little quirks.

I’m not a fan of being pet (at least not yet), but I do enjoy being near my person—sitting close by, keeping you company, even listening to music together. I think I’m perfect for someone who understands that love can be quiet and doesn’t always mean cuddles.

I like other cats—especially gentle boy cats—and would do best in a calm home with a patient, understanding adopter. A quieter home without young children would be ideal for me, where I can feel safe and settle in at my own pace.

Give me time, love, and consistency, and I’ll blossom into a loyal, comforting companion. I may never be a lap cat—but I will always be there for you.

DOB: Approx. 6/24/23
