Fany's Story
Update: Fany no longer has any urinary tract issues as long as she gets dry food moistened with water and lots of wet food. She is a good girl that deserves a loving home where she can relax and look out the window. She gets along with cats and dogs with proper, slow, structured introduction, but mostly does her own thing.

I need help. A NJ TNR rescue friend has stage 4 terminal bone cancer. She has 9 cats I helped fix & vet through the years. She can't come home until I find them homes as the home has to be sanitized. I'm trying to remain positive, but she finally agreed to allow me to rehome them which tells me she knows she doesn't have long to live. These cats and her dog (11 yr old Lula is going to a friend) were her only children. They're fixed and FIV/FELV negative. I will update vaccines at the vet. I don't have anywhere to take them. 4 are stunning, longhaired calico sisters about 6 or 7 yrs old (Katy, Daisy, Lucy, Pinky), 2 are tabbies Kiwi 4 yr old boy had 5 canines removed and Gaby girl, Sofy is a 7 yr old long haired black and white tuxedo girl, Fany is a 3 yr old b&w tux girl, and peach boy Kiwi is 12 yrs old. I told her I am helping because I would hope and pray if I were ever in that situation, I would wish someone would step up and help me and my babies as well. Ironically, I went through this when my friend Mary K. Porter died of bone cancer...I miss her, but I made sure her 10 indoor babies and 2 outdoor babies were taken care of Jan. 2020 four years after she passed and when her designated caretaker passed and the fiance wanted them out. This is not going to be easy, especially when I am really struggling financially, emotionally and am overwhelmed with kitten season and being unable to adopt out our fosters. Please help me help my friend and her cats by sharing and/or adopting. Allforthepaws.org
Email vmoralespps@yahoo.com for adoption application.

She actually wanted to put Kiwi, King and Fany to sleep because she is devastated and worries they won't be taken care as Kiwi is 12 and has osteoarthritis in hind legs, tabby King has inverted eyelids, and Fany needs special food/meds for urinary issues, but I took them to the vet and will continue to monitor because they are not terminally ill. However, we need placement for them as well. Please help.
