Falcor - Polydactyl Bi-Eye's Story

This handsome boy is a purebred Maine Coon male, retired from a cattery. He is a young adult, just under 2 years old. He is still all kitten and loves toys and climbing to high places. His new home needs to be ready for some Maine Coon energy with appropriately sized large, tall cat trees and lots of toys and interactive play. His favorite place to sleep is at the top of a 7 foot cat tree or in his toy basket.

As a retired cattery male, he may feel dominant around other large males if they challenge him. He gets along with both female cats and smaller male cats in his foster home - even some larger males. However, for his comfort and safety we will only place him with social, well adjusted female cats in the home - or as an only cat.

He is a very handsome Maine Coon - pure white with bicolor eyes and he is polydactyl on all 4 feet. His home should be Maine Coon or other longhaired purebred cat experienced. He will need frequent grooming of his coat, claw trimming (especially his poly claws). His new owner needs to be familiar with and prepared for the needs of a purebred Maine Coon - grooming, bigger litterboxes, bigger cat trees, veterinary costs and health issues frequent in the breed.

He came to his current private foster very matted, with an old claw injury that had not been treated, and ear infections. All his medical care has been provided and he is now ready to go! He underwent a surgical clean up and antibiotics for his injury and his foot is all healed, although it will take 5-6 months for the injured claw to fully grow back.

Falcor is in a private owner foster home. His $550 adoption fee covers his veterinary costs incurred and includes full grooming, all veterinary medical care, microchip, neuter, vaccinations.

If you are interested, please email and tell us about your home and why he might be a match for you - we can't return inquiries without this information. We will consider out of state placements, but you must pick up in person in Minnesota.
